How much should I expect to pay for a Home Inspection?

Home inspection costs generally depend upon the size of the home. Inspections range from $250.00 to $500.00. Swimming pools, spas, hot tubs, termite, mold and radon inspections are an added cost. Knowing the condition of your dream home before you buy can be significantly less expensive than finding out after you move in. Federal Trade Commission statistics indicate that nearly half of all home buyers face unexpected repairs to their newly purchased home costing an average of $500.00 and more than 10% are forced to pay over $1,000.00. A reliable inspection could be the most important investment you make.
